PR-1 Capacities PR1-85T Model						PR-1, Our most Popular Machine with over 2,000 built! The industry standard for an economical double sided planetary machine for over 40 years! 3 different carrier configurations meet nearly all small part requirements. Soft start, variable speed DC drive handles fragile parts gently. Multiple machines are excellent for rough lap, fine lap and polish processes. Popular plate lifter option eliminates strenuous lifting, great for operators of smaller proportions. With standard stationary top plate, the PR-1 is ideal for high aspect ratio parts.

2-Way Motion - Simple, Rugged & Affordable Bottom lap plate is fixed - providing a zero-runout base. Carriers orbit the center (sun) gear at controlled speeds. Top lap plate is non-rotating on standard configurations: Removes material from top & bottom of parts equally. Simple, rugged design well-suited for moderately thin parts and loads.

PR-2 Capacities

PR-2, for those REALLY small parts The PR-2 is designed for very small and very thin parts. Table-top design is ideal for research & development operations where only a few parts are processed at a time. Built with the customer-proven heavy duty design of the PR-1. With standard stationary top plate, the PR-2 is an excellent choice for small, high aspect ratio parts. As the smallest PR Hoffman lap, the PR-2 still features soft start variable speed drive for gentle part handling.
