<P>Lapping carriers have been manufactured by PR Hoffman Machine Products, Inc. since we were founded in 1938. </P>

This steel is available for all carriers up to 24" diameter.  Another grade of "HR" Hard Rolled steel is available for larger carriers.</a>

This material is available for all carriers up to 48" diameter.  Thicknesses from 0.010" [250um] to 1.00" [2.5cm] are available.</a>

We manufacture carriers using this material for machines up to 36" diameter in thicknesses from 0.020" [500um] through 0.5" [12.5mm]. </a>

<p><font face="vernada,arial" size=2><b>PVC (Poly vinyl chloride) & Vinyl</b> - PVC is a plastic sheet material with good wear resistance and lower cost than Lamitex<sup><font size="1">TM</font></sup>.  We manufacture carriers using this material for machines up to 36" diameter in thicknesses from 0.060" [1.5mm] through 1.0" [2.5cm].  We also manufacture carriers in Vinyl in thicknesses from 0.010" [250um] - 0.080" [2.0mm].  Care is needed when running thin vinyl or PVC carriers as tooth strength is much less than steel or Lamitex<sup><font size="1">TM</font></sup>.</a>
